Venerable Sergius of Radonezh (Russian: Се́ргий Ра́донежский, Sergii Radonezhsky; 14 May 1314 – 25 September 1392), also transliterated as Sergey Radonezhsky or Serge of Radonezh, was a spiritual leader and monastic reformer of medieval Russia. Together with Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, he is one of the Russian Orthodox Church's most highly venerated saints.

Seraphim of Sarov is also venerated here in Greece as a great saint of the Greek-Orthodox doctrine.Peresvet wearing what is called "μεγάλο σχήμα" in monastic parlance ,showing that he has attained the most esoteric knowledge is a favorite subject of mine.I have two verions of him in 54mm in my GA waiting to receive some paint.Very good painting of three beautiful miniatures.Well done.

Oda.
