  • Hi Chas, thanks for the friendship invite; you are too flattering with my skill sets to date.
THe PTO is a surrender vignette; IJA officer surrendering his sword, with a NCO as white flag holder, a Major at the salute, his 2ic & one guard. In 1/16th scale.
As for Diggers, Id like to do some PTO stuff, I can see myself converting some dragon C'Wealth inf figures, 1/35. So when I get around to it (Got some career stuff to tackle first) I think I will be asking for your help and insights.
Got some other ideas, particularly with Diggers, tracker dogs, and maybe a caricature or two.

    Cheers

    Chas,
thinking about doing some sculpting work about the PTO; alas, it is a least a year away, but I think to have some ideas kicking back and forth would be interesting.
    Cheers

Yea, I did meet ya' at WASMEx, i remember shaking your hand. I forgot to congratulate you on that vignette/diorama (i'm not sure what these things are anymore).

I think that Chris was just sitting next to me showing scott (or as he's known on here as Khorger) how to paint oils.

Other than that, i'm just happy to see somebody actually wanting some figures made as Aussies which don't need any converting. Good on ya for that and best of luck ;)

    Hi Charlie,

Mate, in addition to winning the Vickeridge Prize for Best Junior/ Intermediate Modeller at WASMEx, the winner also receives a free 12 month subscription to ModelArt Magzine, Australia's leading model magazine. If you come along to the HMFS meeting on Tuesday 9th Sept, I'll give you the free subscription certificate.

    Hope to see you there.

    Cheers

    Tony
