things are OK here. In the midst of a move from one state to another (moving from Oklahoma to small town in Kentucky) and it's turned out to be quite an experience. My wife and I have been in the same spot for nearly 18 years so we are new to this world of "moving", and it has been a real eye opener! Other than that things are good. All my painting tools are packed and awaiting their chariot east. I may get a dedicated painting room when we arrive, so on that front I'm super excited! Hope to be settled in a couple weeks. Itching to get my hands on a couple projects, this not being able to paint is kinda driving me nuts right now! How bout you, things OK there? Cya,

Jay, yes I got my bits off Mr Sparrow no worries, but he did try to sell me some more busts. But they weren't my thing. Sorry I'm late getting back to you on this, I'm still finding my way round the Planet, this one and Earth.

in a word .....no. I was lucky I think. I only tried to purchase one item and it was only in the $30 realm. I don't know if that helped me or not in the long run, but after about 3 months of hassle, I finally got payment back, no goods. I paid through PayPal, and was able to pursue him through the dispute settlement feature there. I also know I had at least one person help me here on the Planet by confronting him after he showed back up here to look around, but was coming into the site with his profile turned off (a kind of stealth mode if you will). I stopped getting any form of communication from him after the first month or so, and PayPal just happened to email me one day about a refund. I would have rather had the piece he said he was selling, but I guess I got lucky in the end and did get my funds back. I won't deal with him in the future for sure though. Good luck. Again, if you bought from him on eBay, it's possible they can help you out with a dispute, should it come to that. Others say they had their dealings with him turn out just fine. I know I'm not the only one here that got stiffed.

Jay, I see by threads that you had dealings with Jack Sparrow, Did you ever get your purchases. I have bought off him on Ebay, but to my advantage I haven't paid yet. I was just wondering if he is kosher or not. Would you be so kind to let me know, cheers.

G'day Tony!
well, that's a loaded question. I've been working on one huge project actually and I haven't been posting any progress stuff. I have 3 of the 7 pieces painted that make it up, all at least 250mm busts. It's been a masive undertaking to say the least. I have a huge base I'm putting together for them as well and it just seems to have consumed me. With being overly busy at work and with family, my figure paintin' time is at a premium lately too. I just picked up a box art and a commission piece, so pics of some more work should cut loose soon enough. I'm still here, just not as "vocal" as usual. Thanks for asking!
