WIP Harald - Skull Breaker - Sago Miniatures / Raul Latorre 75mm

Hey guys, Just did the base flesh tone, which will reveive contrast after dry (highlights & shadows). This is Tamiya Flesh XF-15 with Abteilung 502 Oils on top. My bench light warms up the photo a bit, so consider that factor for these shots below :

WIP German Stormtrooper - WWI - 90mm Andrea Miniatures

Just to wrap up this amazing build, The figure as said was a commission work and it's already delivered 5000 miles away to it's rightful owner, but not before I got the best WW1 Figure prize at a show here in Brasil (among a few others), so I was very proud. Thanks guys for all the support. :)...

Hey Guys, After a couple of months doing the Andrea Miniatures 90mm WW1 Stormtrooper as commission work (and delivered 5000 miles away) and getting a great prize at a local show for best WW1 figure (proud), I am going for some fantasy figure now, to set free some imagination and not be stuck...

    German Stormtrooper - W.W.I - 90mm -l Andrea Miniatures

Good tip, this one actually rests on the gun from the inside, so it would not hang outward in this position at least. Will consider adding it ! Thanks !

WIP German Stormtrooper - WWI - 90mm Andrea Miniatures

Now, some bench photos of the body 100% done, dry fitting to the base. This is the last photos before completed model, which I will take pro photos next week. I added (after these photos were taken) subtle weathering (mud, dust, spills) to the lower half, being careful not to hide the details...

WIP German Stormtrooper - WWI - 90mm Andrea Miniatures

Thanks Jeff, it sure is a hard, complex model, specially being metal cast. But it turned out nicely, fit is 90% good, and clean up was nothing abnormal. Best Julian

WIP German Stormtrooper - WWI - 90mm Andrea Miniatures

Head is 99% now. The lenses were the most difficult part by far. Around 12 steps between painting the see thru face and eyes to finishing up with the metal ring on top of the clear visor. NEVER AGAIN LOL

Review AK Interactive's "Real Color"Paint Range - Michigan Toy Soldier Blog

Kurz, I have not used them on the brush yet. I am not a fan of Lacquers (of any brand) for paint brush, and would not consider it for my personal work, as I don't go there with Tamiya and Gunze also, so the main review focus is airbrushing. But I am confident they will behave positively for...

Hello guys, My latest review for the Michigan Toy Soldier blog about AK Interactive's "Real Colors" paint line. Paint with incredible coverage, smooth finish and very good color rendering. For those who do not know, the line was launched with an impressive book of AFV's painting and a high...
