    WIP Update dapple horse

I used to have a horse that looked just like this, very nice work. Some grey horses, in my experience, have much more pronounced dapples than others. Looking foward to the completed piece. Mary

    WIP Critique Noble Sioux Warrior

This 75mm Pegaso was a challenge and a lot of fun to paint. My photos don't show the highlights as well as I'd hoped, but he turned out much better than I expected. Lots of variety in these figures, compared with Roman soldiers:). Still some touching up to do, hope you like it. Mary

Open Book Masterclass- Chassuer a Cheval Officer 1812

Great review Colin...and given the previous comments , I can personally confirm that investing in a 90mm figure is no guarantee of perfect casting. There was no excuse for the saddle issue I had on my Peg Crusader. The manufacturers need to show the buying public more respect. You're really good...

I'll do anything for love but I WON'T do that!

Rebuilding a saddle because the cantle won't fit between the knight's butt and his cloak - after spending $300 for the model:mad::mad: Mary
  19. Mariner

    Tartar Miniatures-May 2012

Sergey always gets stunning effects with subtle painting...I wish I could see his work in person. When I try to boost my highlights the effect looks 'fake':notworthy: Great looking figures, both. Mary

WIP Critique Trumpeter- 4th Chassuer a Cheval

Colin, I know you've been working on this one a long time, and it shows. From what I can see in the photos, it looks like you've got the 'dapple' technique just fine, they're just a bit faint. I do oil highlights on my horses, you can't beat them for blendability. Super job on this figure, we'll...
