    WIP Pegaso 90mm mounted Templar

Thanks, all...I think the crosses could use some better shadows; not sure of the right colour when they are so large. Suggestions welcome :)

    WIP Pegaso 90mm mounted Templar

Well after fighting with this figure for a month, he's almost done; a few touchups left...had to scrap the saddle cantle and sculpt a smaller one so the Knight would fit on the horse. Perhaps I should have put a touch of putty in places, but it isn't too noticeable in real life. The main pieces...

Just a few touchups left on this figure from Pegaso, a really enjoyable one to paint. I need to practice the lettering more, but did my best. Oils, and acrylics. I think the metals need a deeper wash and I wanted a 'beat up' look to the shield. Comments welcome:) Mary

    Vimy Ridge anniversary

This weekend marks the 95th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, and last week I had the great pleasure of interviewing a young woman from my area who is working as a tour guide at the memorial in France. It is a Canadian government student program. It was wonderful to talk to her; she said...

    The Minuteman, 1775 - A.C.M.A.S. "I Normanni"

I tend to avoid this type of discussion, but after reading the posts, here's my 2 cents... As a new member having a problem with English, I think Kazuc's expression of his opinion was a bit of a shock to other members and put a lot of people off - Jazz made an important point. Whether or not one...
