I black undercoated the figure. All paint are Jo Sonja Then base color is done with Raw Umber . Lights : added some flesh tone, then white to the base. Shadows : added some Phtalo blue to the base. Then some washes of reddish orange around some strategic places like chics, nose...etc.....

Hi friends, I enjoyed painting again after a quite long break. I painted this Metal Model 54mm. In acrylic, except metalics with oil and printer inks. I hope you like it. JP

I love Jo Sonja paint because I can go from really thick paint to thin paint. I paint faces and skin with Jo Sonja. It does not matter that the result dry matt. What matters is your work to put the rights highlights and shados to give the illusion of satin or gloss finish.

I agree with the others. Could easely be a box art painting. I just dont like the metal parts of the rifle, and also the wood part... .well the rifle paint does not justice to your paint....

And I'll add this on JoSonja : I'm bored to always have to shake the bottles of Andrea, Vallero, GW...... before use in case the medium and the paint separate inside..... Here with JoSonja you dont have to worry. The paint is always perfect when you put it on the pallet. And yes it mix...

I bought recently some JoSonja. I think they are very good. Only the golds parts are done with Valejo paint.... all the other parts are done with JoSonja.
