    Drummer 44th Rgt., 1812

Uniform looks awesome, and complements on the "softness" of the face for a very young soldier.

Completed Airfix 54mm French Line Infantry

Really enjoying what you've done with these! Believe I built all of the Airfix Waterloo foot soldiers in my youth so this brings back fond memories. Great job with reworking the poses and making use of spares. I've been trying to build my long held kits as well and it is satisfying to see them...

    WWII B-17 Bomber Pilot - Series 77 - 90mm Metal

Really well done! Recently finished this same figure and especially enjoyed how you did the artwork on the jacket. Despite being made years ago, these Series 77 are little gems that are fun to paint.

Fun looking figure, like all of the details and the splash of color on the raised arm.

This figure is a World War II US bomber pilot. The manufacturer is discontinued, and still lamented, Series 77. Most of the figures were 77mm, but this one is 100mm of solid metal. The figure was painted in acrylic with oils for the leather jacket and boots. The base is for the terrain that...

    US Bomber Pilot WW2

Thank you for the kind words. The squadron was one serving in England in WW2 that I liked the look of. It's clearly not free hand - that would be too far outside my comfort zone on a gift. Using my brother-in-law's would have been a fantastic idea - didn't think of that.... :-)

This is coming along great - expressive face and a colorful hat. He would have fit in at Mardi Gras ... Looking forward to seeing your continuing progress.

    US Bomber Pilot WW2

Recently completed an old Series 77 US pilot. He is painted in acrylics with minor use of oils and enamels. He is a gift for a brother-in-law who is retired US air force. Had fun with the leather jacket.

    Macedonian hoplite

This is an OLD Old Guard figure. It's being painted as a gift for my son who spent a semester in Greece a couple of years ago. Having some fun with it painting in his college's colors that thankfully are red, white and black.
