Hi I think we all agree its a terrific sculpt, ok so its not Mel Gibson but the costume is based on how he appeared in the film Brave heart so on that level its a really good figure I prefer this one.....looks a bit like the actor James Cosmo who also was in Braveheart.......just a thought Frank

Hi My copy arrived this morning ......Black Sun do not hang about .....ordered it mid week It is a fine casting ... fit of parts is excellent clean up minimal. Plan to get this one on the go immediately. Will keep an eye on Black Sun for future releases. Frank

Hi This might sound obvious ......Block in basic colours around the face eg. hair headdress uniform coat .....makes it easier to judge the look Based on ....A picture is very often improved by its frame Frank

Hi I have just gone back to oils for skin tones ......managed to find which in my opinion is the best spirit for thinning oil paint ....... much better than the household stuff I used many years ago It makes the paint dry quicker .... without the gloss Frank...
