This year MFCA organizer are really making an effort to give more emphasis to the fantasy side of the hobby. Instead of an overall Best of Show award, there will be a Best of Fantasy award, in addition to a Best of Historical and Best of Ordinance. In addition to the new Best of Fantasy award...

I have a P80 too. To turn on macro, turn on the camera (ok, a little obvious there :rolleyes:), then on the back press the flower. A screen will come up with AF, flower, mountain - with the same bottom side of the button (the flower) page down to the flower and press ok. That's it. Close up...

He's my brother-in-law. Nah, I wasn't injured. I could probably have played a month longer, but the guys were nervous playing with a pregnant woman. :D Now to get back in shape... :oops: Nice hockey pics there. :)

Wyoming, Michigan (a suburb of Grand Rapids), about 45 minutes from Lake Michigan.

My favorite sports to play are hockey (though I had to stop last June and I'm not sure when I'll be able to play again) and tennis. I paint prototypes for Wm. Britain and now I'm a stay at home mom. I like to read too (history, fantasy, classics), but time's been a bit short for that lately.

For basing, you can either find slate if it's naturally found in your area. If not, you can buy (for less than $2) a slate tile from a home improvement store, or better, find a broken one (don't break it yourself...) and they'll most likely mark it as a sample and give it to you. Just break it...

Thanks guys. :) The Bunny Chick is a limited edition release from Emanuele Giovagnoni (aka its raining frogs on Legio Pictorum). There was a group paint of this mini on Legio Pictorum and I bought the mini directly from Emanuele.

Finally getting around to posting...here's a couple minis I finished in time for Chicago. Arwen is 25mm and the Bunny Chick is around 40mm. Any comments and/or critiques are welcome. I sculpted the fairy on Bunny Chick's base with Little Bunny Foofoo in mind. :sneaky: :D
