US source for Mr Metal color?

From what I've read, it's been banned here because the warning labels are only in Japanese and Gunze doesn't want to translate these. I have found an eBay seller in Taiwan that ships the Gunze paints worldwide for free though...

    Lovanchi Models--licensed or pirated?

I saw them too and googled them as well. I believe they are pirates even though the prices are high. Maybe that's their game? I don't know as much about the JJ Models large scale kits but I believe they were all limited edition and came with cards of authenticity, but I only have one early...

WIP Full Figure Female Figure Sculpt

I've started fleshing out the figure now, still pretty lumpy but I'm getting there. It's really strange sculpting without an armature, I keep measuring with a ruler on the screen. It's also really strange not sculpting to a pose, it seems that it's probably best to pose her once I've gotten...

It's looks pretty good to me so far. Glad you're getting back into sculpting! To post pics here, click the "Go Advanced" button below the smilies. Then at the bottom under Additional Options, there is a "Manage Attachments" button. You can upload directly from from a drive there.

Completed Critique Red Cappuccello - Finished

Re: Red Cappuccello I like it even better now, tehe painting looks great! I like your added hair a lot too, I just saw on your other thread that it looked like she had an eye-patch. The golden curls much better:thumb: You should do more of this kind of stuff, it's really cool!

I loved Hong Kong and miss it quite a lot sometimes. It's a beautiful city with great food, and I really enjoyed not having to drive everywhere. I guess Universal was never that cheap, but they had everything!

WIP Full Figure Female Figure Sculpt

Yup! Give 'em time and I'll be able to paint with this thing and have a decent color print come out:) I'm still tempted to try and see what a grainy print looks like in the interim.

Glad you're here! A number of years ago I lived in Hong Kong and I remember spending a lot of money at Universal Models in Mong Kok:). I loved that shop but I haven't been back since 2003 or so, are they still there?

WIP Full Figure Female Figure Sculpt

I keep coming back to computer sculpting rather than painting lately, so I figured I'd show where I'm at with my latest one. I've figured out how to hollow effectively, at least on simple shapes, so I'm optimistic that this one will be relatively cheap to print. I'd like to try a couple...
