these young men "Cowboys" really look at home on these horses in the photos-surely they hailed from horse country growing up.

So this really happened. There are a series of photos from St. Mere-Eglise in Normandy where 82nd airborne paras commandeered German horses for patrols. I will definitely and be looking forward to painting it. It was very challenging (I like a challenge) as lot of dynamics between horse, rider...

This is one I just completed in 1/16th scale . This was a unique opportunity (commissioned by my friend Zongwen Huang) to sculpt a really interesting subject-82nd "Cowboy" at Normandy 1944. Hope you guys like them

Was originally sculpted for Kirin but never went into production a long, long, time ago in 1993 I believe. Not quite sure how a re-caster got hold of it ....... 30 years ago. 1/9th scale
