    Completed Some of my latest.....

    Here are two figures I recently finished. The first is a 200mm Mitches Military Models 82 Airborne. The second is a Forgeworld Perturabo (about 65-70mm for the figure). Painted both with acrylics and some oils here and there.... Tweaked the film setting for the first image of the trooper...

    Completed RAF Bomber Pilot

    Thanks! The jacket was painted with a combination of scale 75 Brown Leather, Red Leather and Orange Leather. I added black and Vallejo Orange Brown. The collar was Vallejo Earth and Sunny Skintone, shade with black and some Andrea Ink.

    Completed "Fill Your Hands You Son of a Bitch"

    The grips on the pistol are not wood- John Wayne used he same Colt pistol for most of his Western movies- it had a yellowish colored grip- called "calalin". It was some kind of hard plastic. I used a butterscotch color for those.

    Simple flesh mix: Vallejo Brown Sand, Burnt Cad Red, and Sunny Skintone (Basic Flesh too). A little Jo Sonja Burnt Sienna, plus Raw Umber and black added for shadows. I used a touch of Jo Sonja Brown Madder for some color in the cheeks. Iraqui Sand and US Field Drab for the coat.

    Need help about WWII USMC uniform colour

    I used Vallejo German Field Grey and Olive Grey mixed together. #830, 888, and 886 highlights. Sunny Skintone for highlights works good too. Add black for shadows.

    Bust or full body for a beginner?

    Try a bust. Like Alex said, a subject you like. Keep it simple so you're not overwhelmed at first by the complexity. A Young Miniature bust is a good choice.... minimal cleanup, easy to paint. 1/10 scale will allow you to understand lights and shadows, and painting eyeballs that you can...
