The assembly was good, but the left arm- I had to tweak a bit. I am not sure about the pose, it seems a little unnatural. The sculptor- Pangastorm is very talented and usually his work is spot on.

I just finished up this figure for a collector. Its Alpine's 1/16 scale First Infantry Division officer. Painted with acrylics and oils for the stock on the Thompson. Great kit, parts are expertly cast and assembled easily. The head was taken from the Alpine BAR gunner kit. I hope you like...

This was a piece I did for my Dad's cousin. Fred Wellhouser was a chopper crewman in Vietnam. He was a Navy man, in an unique unit called the "Seawolves". They were an attack squadron that supported the brown river navy and the seal teams in the river delta regions of Vietnam. They flew UH-1...

Thanks everyone. The eyes were a challenge (hard to see at all in photo). I think on my usual large scale figures I use more paint on one arm than I did for this whole figure! Matt

Here is Christmas present I painted for my wife. I did not take any in progress pics, because I had to paint it on the sly...... Its a APG figure sculpted by Carl. This was a lot smaller than I am accustomed to work with, plus it has legs :).

More......... The left hand is need of touch up...... Still more adjustments to the coat and weathering

Some pics of the rifle.... Metal is painted with Humbrol Metalcote. Wood is undercoated with Vallejo Buff, and oils on top. Brass is printers ink. Sling is painted with Vallejo Deck Tan, Jo Sonja and whatever colors I have on my palette.
