It looks like the figure is wearing the m42 uniform. By Market Garden, they were wearing the M43 uniform which is different. If you google the two you will see the difference. Also the 101 had flags on their right shoulders for Market Garden (not D Day). Matt

Here is the Frank Miniatures kit, sculpted by Carl Reid. For the red I used Scale 75 red set- very nice paint. Flows well, dries dead flat. Dave from Last Cavalry encouraged me to try one of their sets- glad he did.

Here is the new project- the box art for UEM's Volksturm. Its a 1/9 scale bust with 4 configurations- 1 is bare head; 2 is wearing a M43 cap; 3 is wearing the helmet; 4 is either the M43 and holding the helmet or bare head holding the helmet. In all he is holding a panzerfaust and has a K98 over...

Well, here is an update on this project. Almost there. I am going to add lettering for the parachute quick release - home made decals - we'll see how my technique will hold up. Stay tuned!
