was doing this as an ornament for the mantle piece at Christmas but did not finish in time so he will be part of the decor next year. thought i'd add him the the V-bench; 12 " tall , in coloured sculpey with removable head/hands and hat/beard. fun to do...

personally i get where you're from there Gary, i have the occasional lax period and find that a change is as good as a rest. drawing is a good rest period i find. some times its about confidence too. nought wrong with you any these mate. nice to see you on the CH too; i find the critiques there...

my tip for this one would be to look at people when it next snows(if it does near you) and notice how the skin tone looks much colder in Colour, think of the Ice Queen in Narnia to get an idea on this. Also check out works by the top boys and girls in this field. Bill Horans Military...
