    Young girl looking for water

Lovely subtle skin tones and sublime work on the girls face. The waters edge setting is superbly done. It’s art, as far as I’m concerned.

200mm Lance Sergeant, Grenadier Guards, Western Front, after 1916

It looks to me like the rank on his upper arm is that of a colour Sergeant. You have the stripes, cloth grenade badge above that, then the crossed swords and the crown- Colour Sgt. A lance Sergeant would have three stripes and the grenade badge only. Only guardsman and L/Cpls wore conduct...

    The Mike Blank Raffle Figure.

Big fan of Mikes work and the way he mutes the colours so that everything is in relation colour-wise. I would love to have this piece of art.

Review Legion Miniatures presents Elizabeth ( ATS Uniform )

A very attractive half figure. I would be tempted to paint it as a generic ATS subaltern. I’m sure that the two ribbons would represent the George V jubilee and the George VI coronation medals. You can see in the pics, if painting the figure as her Majesty, that is.

USMC, Battle of Fallujah, Iraq 2004 Ver.2

    Outstanding, Calvin, as always.

    Its Been Awhile

I like your work. You have an original style, a bit of ‘Je ne sais quoi’, it’s good. Hope you keep painting.

1/32nd 'The Rearguard' - Maurice Corry

The poor bugger at the end with the head wound. Perhaps Mozzer didn’t have the heart to sculpt him with bare feet in the freezing snow, as per the painting.

CGS New Sculpt by David Grieve, Lifeguards dismounted order

This Trooper looks like he’s been in a bit and would look good with a couple of service medals on his chest.

    Kinda back at the bench

I have always liked your work. Sorry you have had health issues, been there myself, but you have lost none of your skills from what I can see.

Italian Army Officer North Africa WW2

Very nice, but when is the 120mm Italian paratrooper officer figure that was on here the other week available?

    Italian Paratrooper 1;35, 120mm

I really like this. I will have to have it in my collection. I think there was an article about the ‘Folgore’ parachute division in Mil Mod years ago. They were great fighting soldiers.

"View from my bench -2019 and beyond "

Your work must look so beautiful in real life. I could gaze at one of your finished creations for many hours.

Hi I'm New: my model kits

    Dance of Death (again)

It could be that Ian is in severe financial distress and struggling to keep the bailiffs away. I think that unfortunately running any kind of business is a risk and just one or two bad decisions can sink you into oblivion. Reading through these threads, it’s got to be his cash-flow that has...

    1976 Roky

Amazing piece of sculpture. Pity there was no room to depict a bit of Rockys famous ‘wife-beater ‘ vest to go with the hat.

    News Scale75

The hairstyle is too full at the back and sides. Perhaps his nickname would be ‘Tubby’.

    Revolution Miniatures (Russia) - News

This piece has a real tension in it, between the briefly distracted savage Viking and the soon-to-be-murdered, wretched Monk. It’s really quite disturbing, if you think about it in that sort of way. Other than that, it’s a great sculpt.

Nutsplanet`s first new item of 2019!

It’s the ‘Milf’ look, at least I think so.

    WW2 Soviet Tanker (Life Miniatures)

If you only started painting figures in 2018, then I would say that you have a special talent that will only improve with time. Very impressed with your work.
