    Figure Damaged At Euro

Are these venues not insured for liability? Or the promoters for that matter? I'm in two minds whether to submit (for the first time) at Telford in Novemeber now...:nailbiting: By the way, anybody else attending or planning to compete at the IPMS show next month?

    Transport Tips

Anyone out there offer any tips on safely transporting their prized models to and fro? I am thinking of entering competition and would like them to get there in one piece! :)

"the Chosin Few" Young Miniatures New Release October

Gets my vote. The new MTP in that scale would make for a nice painting challenge.

    WIP Minor Conversion-Young's Fallschirmjager's Now A Medic

That's most generous of you to say so, Dr F. I'll be pleased to see him finished. It's an area of modelling that I feel is under-represented (ie too many SS MG Gunners, IMHO) on any side of the conflict (I'm biased, as a nursing officer anyhow!). That said, once he's done I move on to Young's MG...

    WIP Minor Conversion-Young's Fallschirmjager's Now A Medic

I've painted this chap by leaving the face until last (still to do!) as I wanted to determine if he'd make a decent enough medic. Guess i'd better get on and finish him but work keeps me away from the workbench... :(

Lovely workmanship, Kaz. You say this kit is now OOP? Guess I'll have to settle for the Max Wunsche kit instead then.... :(

UPDATE-About 80% there. I need to get on and paint the face...been avoiding him! The splinter pattern 'rain' effect has been a be-atch to do...it's not brilliant but hey, nobody died in a ditch and I'm not going to worry too much.

    Life Miniatures July New Release

The detail of the sculpt and the execution of the skin tones are simply stunning. This one will be on my 'must have' list. I've compared the photos here to examples found in 'The Devil's Adjutant' by Michael Reynolds and the likeness is very good.
