    The King's Shilling

Thank you all for so many kind words :) ! Dan, your suggestion is interesting, and I was thinking about navy press gangs, but decided to stay with the army, because I didn't found any information about navy uniform on that period, it seems sailors didn't have any. Speaking of uniform -...

And finally private, who is putting Shilling in his tankard Here is how they looks together They still need many finishing touches - it seems to me that their boots are too massive for example. But first of all I need to decide - to make them as a kit or not. What do you think, is...

    Baron Munchhausen

Here is another character from old literature. It was ordered to me as souvenir, and cast in bronze, size is 54mm. I plan to add him some laces and shoulder knot, fix some problems, paint, and put him on another base. Any suggestions about base are welcomed.

    Historically correct.

I've voted "ALMOST ALWAYS". I do not paint usually and when sculpting always trying to be historically as accurate as possible, but when I'm buying figure, I do it to learn from a sculptor who made it. Ernst

    Prussian musketeer

Thank you, Gary! 18th century is one of my favorites too. Behind the firing line, you can see my unfinished project - the mounted officer of the same regiment. It was painted in a hurry, just to appear in a frame. Anyone who'd like to have this musketeer, just send me a PM or e-mail ;)

    Prussian musketeer

Thank you for the kind words! This guy was made just to form that firing line, to decorate an interior in the feature film scene. Though his pose is simple, I was surprised how hard it is to make it look right.

Sorry, Jacek, but I've noticed one more mistake... The ear is too low,... seems to me.

    Kaiser Wilhelm II

Really interesting. Face is recognizable already, may be nose is too wide. But pay attention to the chest. It seems too narrow. ;)
