@Ralph: thank you. @Mike: thanks for the info. I don't think I'll sculpt the cloak as I've already sculpted the back of the armour. Also, since I'm going to mould it any extra item (sword, dagger, pilum etc.) should be cast as a separate piece just to be on the safe side. All the best, Elia :)

I use oils and mix one part white, one part burnt umber, one part yellow ochre and a tiny bit of black. I hope that this helps. All the best, Elia :)
