Thank you all for your responses! I have been working on the base, for which I could try some armour modelling skills on the Maxim gun. Groundwork itself is just in basecoat. The gun is a very crisp 3d print from Alex of Castle Miniatures. By sizing the MG34 it turns out Jeffs model is 1:15...

I really like this figure, except for the way-too-thick helmet rim and shield (and greaves but that is easier to correct). Can’t this be made thinner? Other digital sculpts and prints and even resin castings are much thinner. Adrian

Fresh water is too bland. Cats prefer more colourful tastes. And they have nine lives, so they can take some risk…

Very nice vignette you have made here! It really breathes France. The traffic sign is a clever tool in this. The wall is also nicely done, and an original choice. And I like the tilted geometry, very effective! Adrian
