Mike, I used to go to Atlanta on a regular basis, but stopped going, as it is a twelve hour drive each way. Last year was the first time I had been in several years, and it was just as I remembered. The people there are great, and the show has lots of great work on the tables.

Simon, Mike and Mobo, Thanks for your comments, I am glad you like this figure. Finishing a figure feels good. I have started at least five projects and put them up lately. I hope this and a trip to the Atlanta Figure show this weekend gets me back in the groove. Rusty

Thanks Mike, I would say the part I am most pleased with is the head. It was the first thing I painted. Then it set on my bench for a couple of weeks. I decided I wanted to get this finished to take to Atlanta, so I completed the rest of the figure in a little over a week, which is really fast...

The red is Vallejo Flat Red. It is painted over resin that I had originally primed black and didn't like it, so I stripped as much of it as possible. The black left shadows in the folds, so I primed it with a clear lacquer flat. The red is just a base coat at this stage, but the shadows and...

This is one of my favorite periods. Years ago, I painted several of the Andrea 54mm pieces they had from this period. I have thought about picking up some of the Le Meridien line and giving them a try. I really like how this is turning out. Rusty
