    WIP 29th I.D. Alpine Miniatures

Good Day All, Here is a figure I started this weekend. I have most of the upper half complete. This is an Alpine Miniatures 1/35th from their Vallejo paint set. It is quite a nice figure, as you would expect from Alpine. I am using mostly the colors from the set. I hope you like it. Rusty

Thanks for the comments. Yes, the backdrop is scratch built. I used plastic sheeting to lay out the shape. The bricks are plaster that I laid individually and then added the mortar. Painted in acrylic and used oils and pastels to weather.

Thanks for the reply. It is good to know others have trouble with Khaki. I would rather paint white, black or any other just about any color.

    Late War Officer ETO

Here are a few photos of my latest project. It is from Alpine Miniatures. My daughter gave this to me as a Christmas gift. It is a really nice sculpt and pose, that I have wanted for sometime, but never picked up. This was a fun figure to paint, but the khaki gave me fits. I hope you like it. Rusty

Good Day All, I finally got back to work on this project. I have laid the basic camo pattern down. I still have a lot of detail work to do on the smock, adding seams and highlights, etc. As always I am open to suggestions and critiques. Rusty
