Between the occasional painting of figures my main hobby is airgun benchrest target shooting and tinkering with air rifles. I collect spring guns from the 80’s and 90’s and refurb them to my individual tastes I also make wooden things in the shed of dreams…..…dom

I think I definitely have a shelf of shame, or a quarter of a shelf at least. It has started figures and busts that’ll definitely be finished one day and there’s also several that looking at this afternoon are well past me having anything to do with. I have never put a model in the bin so...

Eyes, hair, waist coat and buttons base coated today. I just need to tidy the bottoms of the eyes and finish the eyebrows plus a wash of brown. Cross belts tomorrow and deciding if I should do white or red turn backs……..dom

Hopefully I will and I did used to enjoy it, the fullness of the models in the cabinet are testament to that. The good thing is that it appears to be like riding a bike, Matt undercoat on, dark skin tone slapped on and left to dry for a few hours, then remove all the paint with a large soft...

Hopefully it won't fizzle out and made a lot easier with nice castings...........dom

Me too, I can't wait. Friday match I hope will be a classic opener but I think France will win. Not confident for England either especially against Argentina.............dom

Cheaper than my usual figures (if a bit smaller) but I don't have to paint them . Tam found these on something called Temu and thought they might make a novel addition to my usual figures and busts.....dom
