Hi Tony, looking good mate...I really like the extreme slop of the base, it puts the whole thing in perspective. The foliage looks like it will turn out looking very realistic too. All the best, looking forward to seeing it all come together. Roy.

Here are another couple of pics. The first showing the girdle. Here is some further work on the front of the figures jacket, adding the lace and the strap for the haversack. Below you can see the haversack added, and the work on the turn-backs. Many thanks foir taking a look.

Guy, you have my total agreement on this serious situation. I know there are many sculptors that visit these forums, hard working sculptors at that, and very hard working businessmen and women who turn out some beautifully crafted kits, for the very discerning modellers that part with their own...

Hi Walt...I usually heat the top of the tube near to the cap for a couple of seconds with a lighter..yeah I know there are probably much gentler methods, like soaking them in hot water, but this sure is a quick solution.. All the best..Roy.
