  1. Blind Pew

So well rendered. Excellent modelling, all round.
  2. Blind Pew

    3rd Fallschirmjager, Ardennes, 1944

    Excellent painting.
  3. Blind Pew

French Knight with Poleaxe - Second Half of 14th Century

Some excellent painting on display there.
  4. Blind Pew

    YOUNG miniatures 1/10th 101St Airborne

As a transitional, kind of 'training' piece, you must be well happy with this. Especially with those skin tones you've achieved. I say that as that's the thing I do find the hardest with acrylics. Everything else, not too bad, but skin.... You've definitely nailed it, no doubt about it.
  5. Blind Pew

    “Horrocks”: British General, Autumn, 1944

    Very nicely painted indeed.
  6. Blind Pew

Tambour de la Gendarmerie d'Elite Garde Consulaire 1804 (d'apres Chataignier & Poisson)

I was going to say exactly that, so, lacking the vocabulary, I'll just copy Bob.
  7. Blind Pew

    Romeo Models Federal Artillery Driver

The kepi needs to change, only quite minor changes though, I'd take those swords off. His belt buckle, too. I believe some belts did change hands and blokes kept the buckle, but to emphasise his allegiance, I'd change it to a CSA one. It's a good figure and would make an interesting project.
  8. Blind Pew

    ALTORES STUDIO

An excellent release, especially in 1:30 scale.
  9. Blind Pew

    ALTORES STUDIO

Great to see this back again. Always was a good figure.
  10. Blind Pew

    USM Sgt, 1833.

Nice one, Bob. Often the stripped & re-painted ones end up being the most satisfying projects in the end. That odd shade of green looks tricky - you've definitely pulled it off, though. A very nice figure indeed. Really good skin tones.
  11. Blind Pew

Roman gladiator Retiarius from Faces of War Miniature

An excellent release - great pose as well. I hope its popular in those scales.
  12. Blind Pew

Jeffshiu's Miniatures 120mm WWII British Universal Carrier Mk.II riders

This is an excellent release. Great to see some of the British Army - makes a nice change.
  13. Blind Pew

    faces

Wow, these are all superb. Very hard to pick a favourite.
  14. Blind Pew

    Draconarius

Armour projects? Don't come swearing on here! Seriously, though, this is excellent. So well painted, all of it, the skin tones, the shield...but that cloak is the star of the show. I like your metal finishes as well. A top project indeed. (y)

  17. Blind Pew

Russian Dragoon Officer 1698-1700 EK Castings

Another gem. Quite an unusual subject. Different bits of him could come from different centuries even,
  18. Blind Pew

Completed Mameluk 1798-1805 Pegaso Models 54mm

Top painting, Eduardo. I'm about to start mine today! (y)
  19. Blind Pew

    Japanese infantryman at last?

Half the time, it's cheaper to traipse there and fetch it in person...:(
  20. Blind Pew

    Sgt. 2nd Armoured Division. WW2

A nice paint job, Malc. It's not as easy as it first looks to paint a figure that is dominated by a single colour. Some sharp painting there as well.(y)
