Are you going to use a water product for tears? The pink in the eyes is spot on.

Using a different shade of brown (AV Leather Brown) for the CW hat. Just the basic lines blocked in. I'm now already thinking of what Ill do for the Welsh Guards to complete a 5 Brigade trio.

I always end up with high gloss finish when using AV black. Ill add a matt varnish at a later date.

Done the black bits on the camo. Not really happy with it yet. Maybe when the webbing is painted in it will look better but at the mo. the DPM doesnt feel right.

Given it a once over to soften/blend a bit better. I will add a tiny bit of putty on the upper eye lids to match the lines painted.

Wow -that looks a lot rougher up close than it does to my eyes. Lets call the face 75% done instead!

Catching up with this. Top job on the flowers. I think you could add some more muted flesh tones on the face to age him up a bit (compare the pink flesh around the eyes to that pale yellow/grey flesh on the cheeks). A few paler washes could really make him pop.

Not touched the face -not sure if I'll need to. The bust in the background is the one from Mookies (really nice btw) that I'm currently painting.

Ive only just got back into it. When it's going well, its a joy. Other times it can feel like a chore. Hopefully you'll come back into into the hobby.

I usually drill a hole in the base or somewhere hidden and glue in a rod.

The putty dried faster than expected so added extended ear flaps and front with stitching. Still a fair bit to do but the basic shapes are there. The sides may need to be thicker .
