    garyjd, Dan Morton, housecarl, thank you! Snow was made from baking soda, mixed with PVA glue and white acrylic paint. Melting areas were made by tincturing wet mass with black ink, diluted by water. Tnen snow was covered by glance lacquer.

    Hello all! Another my conversion of JMD figure (original Garde mobile), and another french marin. But, for once, I depicted marin from Franco-prussian war. It`s sad, but I found some annoying mistakes in uniform after the end of the work. I made a marin with colonial infantry`s belt and trousers.

    Thak you for comments!:) gordy, the term "tempera" in Russia means water-thinned paint, like the acrylic and gouache paint at the same time. megroot, "Les Demoiselles au Pompon Rouge" - yes, I know this nickname. But I didn`t know, that they were all killed. I saw photos of 1916 or 1917...
