The ogres are nice and you get 6 in a pack, they have lots of skin and are comparable to a 75mm face, here's a link, unfortunately GW are expensive, or you might get a bargin on ebay :D

Ouch!
I think a spot of defenestration may be on the cards when Dr. Mike picks up on this one.
Definitely metal, specifically bronze, though it may be...
Thanks for the tips Tony, I can see what you mean, I'm thinking of getting loads of head sets, and just working on getting the faces right. Its not easy thats for sure :D
I've just bought loads of blooming Andrea paint, some are good but I dont like the quick dry effect of them, I'm using...
Thanks Rocky that sure inspires me to keep going, these bigguns take some doing thats for sure :D
I'm not happy with the face, as he's still a bit rough, and I have not grasped the layers quite right, but overall he's looking pretty good.
Ok, dont laugh :o just trying to cover the white bits really, still got some round the back of the cloak etc bits to do before I can glue him together and start shading. I did highlight the trousers but I think it needs some more
I'm having problems with andrea paint, does anyone else find it...
:D thanks Mark for the grounding advice, much appreciated :D I'm having problems with my Virgo nature trying to get everything as it should, and failing miserably :o well its my birthday today, 49, and very depressed as I only feel 29  :p
However I agree, I did get this roman so I could...
He looks good megroot, I like the warmer tone of the bronze on your figure, great job.
I'll try a burnt umber colour, cheers.
I'm just trying to do his face, eyes  etc
Cheers Terry,
I done a bit more on him today, and some more on my 90mm roman, :D I cant stick to one project, lol, at the moment, but he will get finished, I'll update soon
These large scale fella's are a bit more involved than I supposed  hats off to you all :D
It all started well enough, I made a great colour for the leather, ok on his trousers then got stuck on his cuirass
Would you say this is a fair representation of colour for a bronze cuirass?
Some use fimo but you have to bake it, and the results are as good as any I've seen. Not tried it myself, but it might deal with the reaxtion your getting.
Imperium Miniatures web-site seems to be in an unknown language:confused: I'm, trying to find out how much these are
Is there a English website???
Super figures by the way:D
Wow, thanks for the detailed reply Martin, I think I'm forced then as I do not want to convert him to go with my interpretation of this Roman Officer, a mix of real and fantasy, I will try a bronze cuirass
If you get lines in the paint, like ridges it means its too thick, so its better to do two thinner coats and get a realistic effect. make sure you let the first dry before applying the second.
milliput fine is good, you will need some sort of tool to position the putty, i use a sculpting tool...
