Soon available, original subjects of the Great War By Doug Cohen

I'm confused. Your headline is 'Sculpted by Doug Cohen' The box says 'Sculpted and painted by Douglas Lee' The two aren't the same person, unless one or the other is masquerading or has a seriously split personality.

    ICM News

If the moldings are crisp and clean, it'd make a nice vignette.

    STEAMPUNK IN MINIATURE (Scale75)

I'd get this, but the shipping is almost as much as the book. 32 Euros for the book and 26.80 Euros for shipping to the USA. I'm sorry, but I just can't justify that. Too bad, it looks like a very good book.

    Herosculpt - Miniature Mentor

Review The Devil from Nuts Planet

I got mine from El Greco yesterday and I completely agree with the 'open box' review. The sculpting and casting are stunning. She just might get moved farther up the list of 'I gotta paint this' projects. After all, the Devil made me do it!

    Avatar?

I'll try to post some pictures. I'll look up how to post photos here. Every site's different. I've got a Photobucket account, but they seem to be having problems. I'll try go shoot some with it primed in white - it really shows how nice it's sculpted. Painting the blue stripes is going to be...

    Avatar?

Three Kings' version is quite tall and is beautifully sculpted by Joe Simon and well cast - just be careful of air bubbles under the chin and under the breasts. The sculpted braiding of the hair is amazing. Clean up of the seams is about what you'd expect from a 'garage' kit - a little...

    Tommy's War News

That's a nice figure. I've seen it elsewhere in larger photos; the sculpting is first rate and the painting's wonderful.

1/35, 1/32, new WWII partisan and and civilian lady by Reedoak

I like the woman and the boy with the basket. Good civilian figures offer so many opportunities for vignettes and dioramas.

    Excellent! Vignette in a box.

    BRIGITTE LaFAYETTE - (Scale75)

Very nice. I'll have to get her to go with her 'sisters'.

    Help Needed Urgently for Gray

Gray is a great person to do business with. Absolutely honest and above reproach. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

    Nutsplanet new release, The Devil!

"For the Devil has a pleasing shape..." Amazing sculpt - it could be painted so many ways.

Not Yet Dead Miniatures - 75mm "Linda with baby"

I just ordered two of them, one each for my daughters who each have a boy. (Yeah, I'm a grandfather - just an old f*rt!) They'll make nice Christmas presents.

Not Yet Dead Miniatures - 75mm "Linda with baby"

Very nice. Realistic and not at all the exaggeration of women we sometimes see.

    Katagiri Shizuko a dancer

I assume the hair is still a work-in-progress. Very nice sculpting. At certain angles, there's a resemblance to Karen Gillan (Amy Pond to us Whovians).

    To Airbrush or Hand Paint?

I've used three airbrushes over the past 30 years (yes, I am an old f**t). Badger, Aztek and now a Sotar. Each increased in complexity, but once the learning curve was conquered, they were an essential tool. Now, I'm still not accomplished enough to paint figures less than 1/12th-scale, but in...
