Just seen this on FB about Euro Militaire Expo

Nap, I think a table for Planet Figure is a brilliant idea. Not only does it demonstrate this forum's support for the event and its organisers, but it provides an opportunity for forum members to meet each other, and sign up new members.

A question on My Fathers WWII medals & cleaning.

John, The best thing to do is take them to a professional medal mounting service where the medals can be cleaned and then mounted correctly so they are protected and are correctly presented. As Chris mentioned, sometimes trying to clean the medals yourself and end up causing more harm than good.

Thanks Andrew and Alexandre, I really appreciate your comments gentlemen. Here are the final pics of this bust. The photos were taken while the oil wash was still drying which is why it looks a bit shiny.

Questions about spraying dull coats over Jo Sonja's paints

Hi Chris, I agree with Alex. One of the reasons I switched from Vallejo to Josonja acrylics about 8 years ago is that Josonja acrylics always dry dead flat. There's never been any need to apply a dull coat to remove shine, because there wasn't any. I apply oil washes over acrylics using...

Knight of Heaven, Nuts Planet Bust.

Nicely done Jeff. It's a difficult bust to photograph because the face and eyes are focussed downward, but I think you've really captured the look and feel of the character.

    Roma Victrix!

Hi Paul, Thanks for your detailed notes on painting this wonderful figure. They were very helpful. The final result is absolutely stunning and something to be proud of. The figure itself is another masterful Laruccia sculpt, but I think your painting has elevated this piece to another...
