    Busy week at work, but managed today to start fixing the cape, is has a huge gap, and it’s actually missing areas near the arm joints, so began adding layers with Greenstuff. It’s almost a sin to retouch a Latorre sculpt, but that would ruin the figure, as it is a casting problem. Next weekend...

    Well, lower half is done. Now some tricky sculpting when placing the coat (cape), to fix the huge gap and add some folds to look natural from the back. That will take a week or so with Greenstuff and patience. So far it looks like this :

    It has a sort of dry brushing / filter on the fabric strip that goes in his hand and wrist and the axe handle. None on the other areas...

    Decided to make bloody wounds, and it turned out a very nice contrast. Used Abteilung 502 “Coagulated Blood” Oil Color mixed with the base flesh tone mix. Also added a few more highlights and shadows and random “warm” spots around the chest, cheeks and side of the nose. I am calling the skin...
