This is the new Andrea kit and it assembles perfectly with a very minimum amount of work. Painted with Vallejo and Andrea acrylics and the trench section is scratch built. I also added a retaining strap for the shovel and the belt hook on the grenade.Keep the WW1 kits coming!!!

I found this old Kirin kit of a WW1 Tommy last week while cleaning up the model bunker so I had to paint it! Just a bit more work on the shading and highlights and this one is finished. As always, painted with acrylics. Based on the iconic photograph.

Still have a bit of work to do cleaning up and detailing a few areas on the shirt, hat, and beard. Then I will sculpt a rolled parchment name plate, attach it to a pedestal and figure out what the parchment should say. Any Ideas??
