    Blue, Sky Blue ??

    How do you handle them while painting?

    I usually will hold the figure in my hand while painting the face. I feel I have more stability this way. Then I will peg the feet and attach it to the permanant base. I use blue masking tape on the base to prevent it from getting paint or such on the surface. When finished it peels right off...

    Chasseur cartouche badge

    Thanks Jim, I think that the silver would look better myself. But, if there is something that would prove differently I would go with that. My wife would also like for me to spend more quality time with her. She says something about I spend too much time with my little soldiers.

    I'm currently painting time machines napoleonic chef d'escadron, chasseurs a cheval. The cartouche is covered with silver fabric, edged with silver lace, and has the bugle-horn badge in the center. What color would the bugle-horn badge be?

    painting tiger skins
