    New Ronin in 90 mm

.....just to add my humble opinion to the discussion, although a really wonderful figure indeed, I think it would be better suited if instead of a Tachi he would carry a katana. Tachis were more expensive and "luxury" weapons than katanas and more difficult to find too. A plain katana without...

New Falklands Para form Maurice Corry

As always, extremely good, a fantastic figure, amazing level of details! I really love it! And so much correct to history as the mounted bayonet and night vision prove!!! Well done!! Anastasios

    Stripping resin.....

Brake fluid!! That´s an interesting alternative. I´d never thought that something like it can strip paint, very interesting indeed! Thanks a lot! Anastasios.

    Blue Eyed Wonder ready

Hi Stephan, it looks great, the eyes are really wonderful and the body is really impressive. My only suggestion: The way it is now painted, the "cracks" on his body looks more like vains or something alike. If you´ll add some "edging", I mean the well know highlight lines along the edges...

    Stripping resin.....

Thanks a lot friends for your very useful tips. I will use oven cleaner, since you all say it´s ok but my heart will still beat like crazy till it´s over. I already used oven cleaner to strip metal figures but for some reason resin seems too "weak" to me to stand such a treatment. I don´t say...

    Stripping resin.....

Hi guys, I want to strip for the first time a resin figure, is already sprayed with Games Workshop Skull white, then acrylics as base and painted with oils. Some filters came at the end but there was where I ruined everything, so now I want to strip it off. What should I use that won´t damage...

    SAS 120mm

It looks really good, keep it going. It´s funny to hear that some people are afraid of big scales, I´m actually afraid of small scales, I just don´t know how some people manage to push so much detail into something so small as 54m and all so masterful!!! Keep posting..... Anastasios.

    Any Planeteers to Herzog??

Hi everybody, I´m intenting to visit the "Herzog von Bayern" competition at Ingolstadt, Germany next weekend and I would be happy to meet some of the Planeteers there and taste the famous bayerisches bier (while talking about modelling of course!!). Any of you on the way there...

    Greek Revolutionary Army 1821 (armatolos)

Extremely beautyful work, well sculpted, very nice detailed, nice to read that this one is a commercial. By the way, what scale is it, 60mm?? Keep up the wonderful sculpting, Anastasios.

    BYZANTINE EMPEROR scrutch 60mm

I agree, the figure was not the point. Is really an amazing figure and I am glad to see such works from fellow Greeks. I hope to see some more. Anastasios.

    BYZANTINE EMPEROR scrutch 60mm

George, I agree 150% with you, I could say anything more detailed and exact, right to the point. This is real evidence for me, my best regards, Anastasios.

    BYZANTINE EMPEROR scrutch 60mm

Costas, I would never, ever try and transform this figure to make it conform to something. Why? First, I´m not that skilled as Babis is and second, there´s nothing wrong with it (no "huge inaccuracy" then). It´s just not an Emperor. As I already mentioned, it´s absolutely PERFECT for a higher...

    BYZANTINE EMPEROR scrutch 60mm

Dear George (Akritis), what a wonderful post! Excactly on my point. I agree 100% with you. Everybody that read my original first post understood that: 1. I don´t claim that this is NO Byzantine. 2. I don´t claim byzantines didn´t used muscle cuirasses. 3. I don´t say this...
