    He is an Royal Inniskilling Fusilier So no plaid, no saffron, but French Grey. It will have a tad of Saffron on the kilt. Mick

    The medals will be fine on the Shawl. ( Cloth over the shoulder):rolleyes:. As for Court mounted I'm not so sure. The widow at Windsor instigated it as she didn,t like the sound of the Officers at court medals clinking about. Hence Court Mounted. As for O/R or senior NCO's having theirs Court...

    To be fair. I have given my thoughts on FB. The Bust was dated 1902, he is holding the 1890 Sheepskin busby. In my opinion the facial hair shown above is more 1850/70. Although the work you have put in to it is great, IMHO I dont think the two go. Sorry. Mick

    Knowing you. some of the detailed putty work will be on medals. here are some pics showing how the medals are wore. Note the cross belt is actually worn over the medals, which I find strange I would have thought the would be over. Oh Hum.M.
