I had this wonderful vignette from Mitches Military Models on my do to list for far too long and I finally got around to finishing it.

Acrylics and inks from Vallejo, Scale 75 and Kimera.

The base is from Oakwood Studios and the nameplate from Name It. ....(Both fantastic, BTW)

Part of my motivation to get this done is the upcoming exhibition by the Artists Preservation Group, (APG) at Gettysburg next month, which is in conjunction with the painting class that Scale 75 USA is holding along with it, Aug 17-20.

That is a great vignette, very nicely painted and displayed. What scale is it, 75mm? It is not on their site so I assume discontinued?

An artists display at Gettysburg sounds like an incredible event to attend, heaven for an ACW model fan.

Many thanks, Rob:), It’s 120mm. I hope that Mitches didn’t discontinue it, it’s a great piece to paint,

Nap, thanks for the photo assistance. I don’t know why my pics aren’t initially loading right side up.
MalC, blind pew, thank you both. It was challenging to paint but that made for great bench time,

Very cool. I bet the Civil War is a popular subject among American figure painters. Is this during Pickett's Charge?
