Wow,...I remember that figure in one of my childhood´s Airfix catalogues.The figure wasn´t very popular here in Germany and in no toy shop to become.
But he´s allways in the same pose.Think on Andrea Miniatures or United Empire Miniatures (made by Alan Ball).....

Oldie and goodie although for me this chapter has been closed since Andrea's release of the mighty king in 54mm.By far the best Henry ever and in the true gentleman'a scale (54mm).

Hi all, many thanks for taking an interest in this build. I am aware if the 54 mm scale and it is a truly wonderful figure, I have had this old kit kicking around for sometime and I’ve always wanted to add to it. I am using some drawings and references found on line but I like to let the build take over me. It’s not meant to represent anybody through history but it’s just using the old Airfix kit.
I just like to get a kit and rework it.

Some more photos, I’ve done the arms just the lower legs to go and then paint. I’m trying nail gemstones for jewellery!

This one brings back memories of my Dad back in the 60s building and painting this with me as a young boy.
You have done a very good job with the improvements. More like our Henry.
