Does anyone have/make a 1/16 (120mm) M1 Garand with the grenade launching equipment attached to it? With or without the actual explosive attached is fine.

Hmmm...maybe a friendly nudge to ReeDee's Miniatures? ;)

Thanks,
Steve

haha I felt that nudge :)
How quick would you need one, the M1 Garand is on my 1/16 to-do list so could bring it forward if needed, I will be working on some WW2 U.S weapons next to increase the 1/16 range.

Cheers

Steve,
How was that for subtle? hee hee
Anyways, it's not uber- urgent and I can certainly work around it if I know it's eventually coming.
Here's a great site with some images that may help too:

I'm mainly interested in a weapon without the charge attached (M7), like the images attached.

Please keep me posted.

Thank you,
Steve

Hi Steve,

So you want a M1 Garand with M7 attachment, I could do a separate grenade to allow for fitting or leaving off so the modeller has the option.

The image shows the Garand with a metal elevation sight fitted, some Garands just had the elevation sight notched into the woodwork of the stock, suppose it was cheaper and faster production.

Let me see what I can do in next couple of weeks :)

All the best

Steve

I like it! You may want to do the rifle with the attachment molded to it, then the extension could be trimmed off and replaced by the explosive. I think that gives the best amount of options - then explosives can still be carried by or shown with the figure, without them being attached to the rifle. Hmmm...a set of 2? One with a metal elevation guide and one notched? It's probably what you were thinkin' anyway.

Thanks,
Steve

OK mate will look into it for you, yes they will be set of two, possibly plain Garand and one with grenade attachment but I will see what works out for the best.
