1/16 Luftwaffe Pilot

[Peter Day]

This is another kit given to me by Steve Hutchinson, Tamiya's 1/16 Luftwaffe pilot. As I'd already made the box version several times I decided to swap the arms and head and add a couple of accessories; the map, Beretta and a scratched flying helmet.

Steve - Morning. Glad you like what I did with him. The family arrived on Friday, so chaos reigns and benchtime becomes precious '' Granddad, can I help with you to do the paint?'' Very dark and dank here, really bleak midwinter stuff, so any snow might help liven things up. The optivisor is too good and makes my work look awful - better to stay out of focus and ignorant. Hope the Christmas preparations are well in hand.
