I was wondering, do you bake or boil your polymer clay to harden it?

Do you separate the parts after the sculpting is done?
I've seen a sculptor, who uses this medium, separates
the arms and the head after the whole figure is finished.
The thought of this scares me...

Einion -i bake polymer clay 5-6 times for 1:35 figure
Taesung-Usually I separate parts (a head, hands) during a moulding. Arms are more often separate when the figure is completed

Just a question: When you bake the figure -130º C, I supose- don´t you have any problems with the resin parts?

Dear Diego,
I bake figure in 100-110º C. 15-20 min. There were no problems with resin parts while.
