Another Verlinden 1/5 bust, depicting a Zapotec warlord and sculpted by the late Derek Holmes. Around thirty separate parts and lovely to work on.

Very colourful, lovely work on accessories and so bright too.
The skin tone is excellent, your ethnic skin painting is always so good.
Its never just "black & white" and is a underrated skill getting it to look so realistic.
Well done.
And a 2nd 1/5 bust, are they any/many more to come?
The IJN pilot is cracking too.
Still very busy, my home office desk has gone and we have a spare bedroom back
So much to pack, but it seems the housing market is in such turmoil, a realistic sale could be a long way off.
Have fun with your next victim and keep your paints wet in the coming heatwave

Steve - Good to hear from you, though I thought you'd be all packed by now! We are in the opposite situation as our younger daughter has just moved back in after university - no room to swing a Jack Russell (sorry Joe). Glad you like the bust. I do like painting dark skin tones - much easier than European as well.
