A nice figure somewhat spoilt by the helmet. The visor in particular looks odd which I would leave off.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what a talented painted will do with that pavise.

From around 1250 onwards, was when crossbows first appeared in significant numbers, but there are references to it much earlier, there's even mention of them at Hastings. The Pavise however is a bit later, roughly early 1300s.
