Hello Folks
I am casting a few copies of this model sculpted by Nello Rivieccio hopefully in time for the Scale Model World show at Telford next weekend.
It is a very impressive model standing 30cm tall and weighing over 1 kilo. It has a choice of 3 valises to represent the 3rd or 4th Regiments who counter attacked the Scots Greys at Waterloo as well as a blank one should the modeller wish to represent other units.
In order to give you an idea of the size I have included a couple of photos which show a 120mm Mounted Polish Lancer Officer alongside the Line Lancer.
If anyone attending the show wishes to pre order for collection then please email me on [email protected]
I will only be able to produce a limited number of these models which I will be offering at the show for £150.00 on pre orders for collection and a show price of £160. Any remaining kits will be made available online at a price of £185.00 from RDG Miniatures.
Ross at Mitches Military Models will be producing this figure in other scales and formats at a later date details of which will be posted when available.
Cheers
Gordon

I've greatly admired this piece since I first saw it on Nello's FB page.
At 1/9th it's truly magnificent and surely a focal point in anyone's
collection. Full marks, Gordon......I'm so impressed !!!!

Been thinking more closely about this release...... I believe we're on
the verge of a 'moment' in our hobby. This piece will sell - it's totally
irresistable. Some will be painted poorly with many a 'chocolate'
horse by the usual suspects who have to be the very first to publish.
regardless of the quality of their work. But somewhere at sometime
someone will produce a proper job and we will have a masterpiece
on our hands. Over time it will become an icon of our hobby, just like
Ray Lamb's Historex Chasseur and Hinchliffe's Japanese Taisho and
you Gordon, old chap, you will go down in history.....:)

Mike

PS Remember...you read it here first:)
