What happened to the sword hand?
On the Detaille's painting and on the 120mm figure it is postionned correctly with the blade facing outwards.
On the bust, the blade seems to be inward facing which is useless an dangerous for the owner....

Confused ..... the sword is in the same position on the bust as it is on the detail picture ?

My 1/10th full figure;

The sword blade is a separate part so can be attached either way round

Thanks - fiunally looked at the parts breakdown for both figures - no issues with the casting itself.
However, it seems, on many built figures the blade is attached the wrong way round.

The sword itself is a European take on the Ottoman-style Kilij (Kılıç) with a highly pronounced yalman double-edge section at the end, which made it pretty efficient as a thirsting weapon.
This feature does not allow the sword to be used Yatagan-style, with the inner curve forward, so the reverse grip is not an option here.
