Hi all, here's my version of El Greco Miniatures' recently re-released figure (originally by Michael Roberts Ltd). It depicts a private of E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division at the town of Carentan in Normandy, June 1944.

It's painted in acrylics. I bought the Scale75 Airborne paint set and ended up using just the Green Gray colour for the uniform. The webbing is Vallejo khaki and the patches are Andrea Russian khaki. I bought the scenery on eBay (can't remember who makes it!) - I added some resin bricks and rubble to the groundwork.View attachment 389656

Nice: an interesting painting style: the dark, well defined folds make it look like an illustration. :)

I thought looking at the thumbnail that I was opening a illustration, was quite surprised to see the actual figure, painting is so smooth on the uniform and the contrasts work so well.
Cheers
Steve
