Hi Folks

This is another piece I have been working on the past couple of weeks on and off. I have just spent two days solid working to get this finished and did so last night.

This is one of the latest releases from Stu at Stormtrooper Miniatures and sculpted by our own very talented Carl Reid.

The kit is well detailed and the casting is up to the exception high standard that always comes from Stormtroopers.

All painted in Scale 75 Acrylics, just loving these paints.

Now the piece is complete I do not know whether to dirty him up or leave him natural?

I tried my best with the photos below ! I might get it right one day !

Any comments most welcome.

Cheers

Tommi

Shame as it is mate, looking at his coat etc I'd dirty him up, he looks in rag order. It's a cracking paint job Tommi (y)

Gorgeous painting! ... I have been looking at this for nearly ten minutes, as I have heard nothing put praise about 'Scale 75's', paint. and I cannot see that 'Harshness', 'Lumpiness', 'Dryness', of some other Acrylics. Top work, Tommi ! absolutely awesome face. ... Oh, god, looking at my wallet again.

Mark

Yes Mark the paints are a real pleasure to use especially suited to me being lazy and not wanting to mix colours. I have most of the colour range now and am waiting to try out the blue set. Very smooth, great coverage and very matt finish. I use mine with Vallejo glaze medium which keeps the paint from drying to fast and enables me to blend the edges out in the same way as oils.

Don't tell me that !!!:arghh::arghh:. I was looking at the 63 piece paint set ! (Not Bloody Cheap). ..However, I cannot find any info as to what it does or does not contain! .. However, yet again I hear the word 'Smooth'. This does not bode well, on finances.

Regards,

Mark

You've done a cracking job mate. The hardest part is sometimes knowing when to stop, but I'd leave it alone. It looks fantastic as is.

Excellent paint job Tommi,
I sense your feeling on which way to go as far as weathering.....The coat already tells somewhat of a story with the way it is torn. I agree with Tarracus; I think I would have to let it rest for awhile and when the mood and confidence strikes maybe go for it...Either way; you have done a stand up job all the way around......Regards.....Wayne
