Guys.

My latest figure is my slant on the Moz Corry figure, supplied by Steve at Stormtroopers.

Mostly Vallejo acrylics and W&N oils.

I have taken onboard the advice from members here, and tried to be a little more "bold" with the Highlights and Lowlights. I'm particularly happy with the Satchel.

But hey, each figure I complete makes me smile a little more than the previous, so it's all good. :)

Thanks for looking.

Mark.

Mark have you added extra straps to the water bottle as I didn't see these in the one i bought:)
If so a nice touch ,see you have opted for the red strip to the trousers also . looking good (y)

It is a big figure to paint and the detail is super fine ,don't know how Moz does it

Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciated. (y)

Ron: Yes, I added the straps for the water canteen, using a little lead foil.

I had originally painted the trousers the same colour as the greatcoat (Inspired by Mark "Gothicgeek" Bennetts example), but decided I prefered the look of the Blue with stripe, if only just to break up the Grey.

Good call on the trousers, can be blue with no strip also ,I sincerely hope:eek:

I like this a lot. There's something about the Guards at Inkerman that appeals to me. I think its the fight in the fog with Napoleonic style uniforms worn with the more modern looking greatcoats - a contrast of styles and colours. This one looks great!

Inkerman the soldiers battle .... Down to fists boots and bayonets in the fog...I know what you mean about this Colin fighting at its most basic....bit like the Falklands I think....

Nice work, but I have seen some shortcomings on the eyes.
If you look good you see that the pupil is bigger in his right eye then in his left.
It also seems that the right eye is larger then the left. Maybe some outlining will do the job.
