This is a stripped down Verlinden German tank crew figure, this time painted as a Panzer Lehr officer. I changed the insignia and added various bits of equipment from the spares box. The head and helmet are by Dragon.

Hi Peter

Another nice version from your bench , nice uniform colour and work on the helmet camo

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Eduardo - Very kind words. Thank you.

Steve - Just allowed the one cabinet and to be honest, a cull to clear away the dross can be very cathartic.

Morning Peter
Another lovely finish to a familiar figure
Nice work with the mix and match equipment.
It must be good to work on the old favourites when you feel a little under par.
I guess the cabinet figures are all getting a serious review for dipping, stripping or the Attic?
My bench seems to be a long way from being used with all the other stuff that keeps popping up!
I do have a small project I would like to finish by the end of the month!
Enjoy the next project and good luck with the review of the cabinet
B&M have a good price on Dettol, £3.19 for 750ml last time I was in there

Nice one Peter, I like the addition of the map tucked ready in his belt. For me, it's little details like that that bring figures alive.

Steve - Many thanks. I've been rooting about in the attic and have found some older stuff - good, solid old Verlinden figures mostly, which I always enjoy painting. At the moment though I'm working on a Miniart Greek hoplite, which is challenging to say the least - hopefully finished tomorrow, then back to the Dettol.

Henk - Thank you. The figure needed a few extras to give it more interest. The map is a cut-out from a Dragon painting guide.
