This is the first thing I've finished in a long while. It's Verlinden's 120mm U-Boat commander with a couple of changes. I couldn't get along with the kit head so I swapped it for another Verlinden one, painted as wearing the Kriegsmarine fur cap. I also changed the hands, which were way too big, and gave him a pipe and the U-Boat War decoration. He's wearing captured British battledress, large quantities of which were seized by the Germans during the fall of France.

Very well painted Peter, glad you are posting again, I was getting withdrawal symptoms:).

Hi Pierre.
Hope you are ok.Ive just had yet another virus bordering on Flu and really knocked me for six.I think this kit was one of the first i ever bought from Historex along with the German officer Eastern front and the Luftwaffe pilot.Seem to remember they all had hands like a navvy.I wasnt aware that the U.boat guy wears uk battledress.Dopey me not paying attention as per norm.I like the new titfer and adds something different.I havent forgotten about the french commando bust.Got to get him cast up.Will let you have 2 in case you want to convert one to something different.Carry on Carruthers,
Pip pip onk onk.
Rich.

Many thanks for looking in Richard.

Hoping the 'flu will ease up and let me do some painting soon. Hope you are well.

Another lovely finish Peter.
Great work on the drapery and such an unusual combination of British togs on a U-boat crewman.
Hope you are felling better?
Best regards
Steve H
